During the claim filing process, the system asks questions to verify identity. If these questions are not answered correctly, the person filing the claim has to submit two forms of ID. This is a security measure to prevent identity theft and fraud. If you don’t have a scanner, an easy way to send proof of your ID is to take a picture of your documents with your phone. When you click upload, you have to select that photo or document to add it to the form to submit. You will receive an email within a few days to confirm that your documents have been received and your claim is being processed.
