Are there any specific discriminatory laws for pregnant employees?

 

Tennessee has a specific pregnancy discrimination law (Tennessee Revised Statute Title 4-21-408) that prohibits an employer from discriminating against a pregnant employee. These complaints should be forwarded to Tennessee Human Rights Commission or the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
