Why was my work search marked as "inadequate?"

A certification will be marked as an "Inadequate Work Search," if the claimant failed to submit 3 work searches for their weekly certification.

Claimants with such certifications will receive a “fact finding” form, allowing them to explain why they failed to complete or properly report 3 work searches.

They may also contact the claims center by dialing (844) 224-5818, option 1 or creating a Zendesk ticket to provide amended/completed work searches. 

Keep in mind that even if your certification is denied, you will be able to certify the following week. Report 3 completed work searches and you will receive your benefit payment.
