In order to process claims properly, employers are asked to respond to a Notice of Separation and Wage Request to provide information helpful for processing the claim. The quickest and easiest way to respond is electronically using JOBS4TN.GOV
After you have successfully logged into the www.jobs4tn.gov website, go to the Unemployment Services section of your Dashboard and select Claimant Separation Form.
Next, select the Needs Response option on the right side of the listing.
You will be provided with a form to fill out regarding the employee's separation and earnings. Please provide as much as detail as possible in the "Explain Reason for Separation" box. There is no character count so be thorough when explaining the employee's separation.
For the response to be considered timely, it must be received within (7) days of the mailing of the original letter.
