The Amusement Device Unit does not recommend inspectors. It is the responsibility of the company to obtain and schedule annual or post-accident inspections. The Amusement Device website provides links for the three (3) state-approved certifying agencies:
- The Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT)
- The Amusement Industry Manufactures and Suppliers (AIMS) Trade Association
- The National Association of Amusement Ride Safety Officials (NAARSO)
