The owner or lessee of every elevator, dumbwaiter, escalator, and other lift shall cause it to be inspected and tested every sixth calendar month following the month in the inspection and test required by Rules 0800-03-04-.04(1) has been made.
State inspectors inspect elevators for safety but do not repair them.
