How do I report an accident involving an elevator or other related conveyances?

• Cease to operate any elevator or other related conveyance upon which a fatality, serious injury, or serious incident has occurred
• An owner/operator must immediately report an accident involving serious physical injury or fatality involving elevators or other related devices. To report an accident, please contact the Elevator Inspector Supervisor at (615) 253-1375.
• The cessation shall remain in force until the State of Tennessee Elevator Unit released the conveyance for operation.
