The GED® test covers 4 subjects: Math, Science, Social Studies, and Reasoning Through Language Arts. You can take all 4 together or one at a time at an official GED® test center when you’re ready. The four subtests vary from 115 – 150 minutes. If you need a testing accommodation, you can request one prior to scheduling your test. Students can attempt a subtest on the GED exam up to three times before having to wait 60 days before additional retakes.
The GED test is also available online. The GED Ready practice test must be passed within 60 days of scheduling an online test.
