Your weekly and maximum benefit amounts are based on your total earnings during four quarters, called the "base period." When you file your unemployment claim, your base period is determined by the first four of the last five complete calendar quarters. Your monetary determination letter automatically populates all covered (insured) wages that were reported as worked in the State of Tennessee.
