Manage Secondary Logons
All customers in the system can have multiple logons to their account. The primary logon (first web logon) will be considered the full access (or master) logon. This logon provides privileges to create and maintain the secondary logons for the account and to grant their access type and access level. Access types are Administrator and Account Manager. Access levels are Employer Full Access, File and Pay, File Only, and Benefit Only.
- In Employer e-Services, click the Manage My Web Profile link followed by the More… tab.
- Under the My Users panel, click the Manage Secondary Logons link.
From here, click the Secondary Logon tab.
- Enter the Name and Email and select the Access Type. Click submit and the system will send the new user an email to complete their web logon.
- The new user will click the link in the email, create their password, and set up their security question and answer. Once complete, the new user will have access to the account.
NOTE: Administrator access types can do everything the primary logon can do except change the primary logons access level. They can update the customer account and do any account maintenance to any other accounts managed by the primary logon. Account Manager access types can only do account maintenance to any accounts managed by the primary logon. |
Manage Customer Groups
Customer Groups are for TPAs and PEOs and allows the primary and administrator access types to create groups of clients to assign to their secondary logons (account managers). This allows those users to only access the accounts they handle and not be able to see the others.
- While in the Manage Secondary Logons section, go to the Customer Groups tab and create the necessary groups needed for your logons.
- Click the Customer tab and see the listing of the accounts your primary logon has access to. Click the Default link next to the accounts and change it to the necessary customer group you want them in.
- Return to the Secondary Logon section and choose the necessary customer group you want that user to have access to.
